Kaare Bjerregaard-Andersen obtained his M.Sc. degree in Nanoscience from Aarhus University in 2011. In November, 2011, he joined the Morth-group at the Norwegian Centre for Molecular Medicine(NCMM) at the University in Oslo. In 2014 he obtained a doctoral degree in molecular biology from the University of Oslo, Norway, under the supervision of J. Preben Morth. He now works as a post-doctoral researcher in the Morth-group. His research is focused on the structural and biophysical characterization of the SLC4 members of bicarbonate transporters and the bacterial enzyme isatin hydrolase.
